AR500 Steel Laser Cut Shooting Targets 1/4″ Gong – Varying Sizes
Choose from 1 of the following sets:

Two 1/2 Inch mounting holes (With thick ears to take hits without breaking)
Hang from both holes for more stability but you can hang from a single hole
Plasma cutting cuts slowly, this puts a lot of heat into the steel. (Submerged plasma cutting machine is no better) This excess heat can result in excessive chipping and damage near the cut edge during use and easily shattering when shot. Plasma cutting generates large amounts of heat that is deposited into the target, softening it’s edges. The heat-affected zone (HAZ) generated by plasma cutting is the largest out of the most commonly used methods for cutting abrasion resistant steel. Most AR500 is cut with plasma cutters as they are cheap and relatively small compared to other methods.

1/4” AR500 steel targets work great for the following calibers
.22 Rim Fire, 9mm, .38 Spl, .44 Spl, .45acp – 8 yards
.357, .40 SW, .44 mag – 12 yards
Shotgun w/ lead bird shot – 12 yards
Shotgun w/ std velocity 00 buck – 20 yards
Shotgun w/ std velocity slug -50 yards.
For velocities over 3000fps MV use at 200 yards minimum. Handguns should be used no closer than 10 yards and rifles 100 yards.

Do not use XM-855 Green tip, M193 or steel core while shooting at steel targets as it can be dangerous and will also void your warranty as can be easily identified as being shot with these projectiles.
